The High Roller at The Linq Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada

The High Roller and The Linq were not in existence the last time I was in Vegas in 2005. As such, I was super pumped to check out this new (to me) attraction. The High Roller is essentially a Ferris Wheel on steroids that gives you great views of the Strip. The Linq also has a small but fun outdoor shopping district with plenty of culinary and alcoholic options, including a Polaroid Fotobar and even a Sprinkles if you need to satiate your sweet tooth! If you go to Sprinkles, I'd recommend going to the side of the building to the Cupcake ATM (yes that exists) for a quick and one-of-a-kind sugar fix.

The prices for the night are higher than for the morning, but I would recommend going on the High Roller in the evening since that is the time that Vegas comes to life. I did find it a bit pricey, but this is definitely a fun family excursion to do and your pictures will be worth the money alone.
