Are they potentially deadly for the environment? Yes
Are they the best way to experience a new place? No
Can they be incredibly pricey? Yes
Okay, so why bother taking a cruise? Well, here are my top ten reasons to take a cruise for those of you who are still on the cusp.
1) There is literally a cruise for every type of person, from moms to part animals to singles.
2) You can experience more than one place for almost the same price (and service) of a resort.
3) You never have to worry about customs between countries (although that does mean not getting a stamp on your passport).
4) Many port of call are unique and exotic locations that many people only get to experience once in a lifetime.
5) I have noticed that the staff on cruises are incredibly accommodating and will work with you to create a memorable experience
